This is a beautiful piece of Murayama Oshima Tsumugi fabric, unstitched with the original basting threads still attached. It has a moderate sheen and a firm texture. The elegant design features Genji-guruma (stylized oxcart wheels) and small drums dancing on a black background with subdued colors. As it has been unpicked, there may be needle holes and loose threads. While I don't see any noticeable damage, please forgive any oversight. Please consider this item as a product of the Showa era. Perfect for kimono remakes, such as bags, small items, patchwork skirts, and more. Size (measured by hand): Width 37cm x 165cm (half of one side) Silk Will be folded for packaging. This is the length cut from one side at the shoulder. However, I can also offer the full side size (approx. 330cm, 2000 yen, with a shoulder cut in the middle) without cutting.
