Circa 1900. The transparent glass base has a style called Court Venitienne, in which the inside of the glass is lightly rippled with vertical stripes, a technique seen in practical French glassware and vases that were popular from the late 19th to the early 20th century. When you put a drink in the glass, which is vertically rippled on the inside using the Court Venitienne technique, it is enveloped in a gentle, flickering light. Against the backdrop of Europe's enthusiastic interest in Japanese culture in the late 19th century, Western craftsmen sealed their longing and thoughts of Japanese culture into glass, creating a very attractive work. Made of high-quality crystal, the rims are also decorated with gold. Due to its versatile size, it can be used for various purposes, such as putting sauces and dressings in it.
