This is a likely unused, beautiful komon kimono, although it's been around for quite a few years. Perhaps it's called a "hitoe" (single-layered) because it has no lining? I'm not sure. No collar stains. Almost no fold marks or wrinkles. Overall, it's in great condition. It has a somewhat interesting pattern. It's a collection of Japanese-style patterns, but from a distance, it looks a bit flashy and pop-like. Length (from collar): Approximately 154cm Yuki (sleeve length from center back to wrist): Approximately 64.5cm Sleeve Length: Approximately 45cm Width (from opening to opening): Approximately 63.5cm Please excuse any measurement errors. The material appears to be 100% wool. Based on the condition of the basting threads on the sleeves, I believe it's unused, but since it's been around for a while, I'll rate the item as "near new," one step down from unused.
