This is a set of four Sometsuke (blue and white) individual plates from Kogyoku Toen of Hasami-yaki. Hasami-yaki is porcelain made in Hasami Town, Nagasaki Prefecture. It has a history of over 400 years and is designated as a traditional craft. These individual plates have a beautiful cobalt blue color, and are high-quality plates with designs that rival those of the golden age of Ko-Imari, with a beautiful indigo color. These are used items, but in good condition. I will sell them to someone who can use them.
