Handmade in England, this is a pincushion made in England in the 1910s. It was likely handmade by a male soldier going to the battlefield and given as a keepsake to a lover or family member. This is a Christmas present from England over 100 years ago. It is a rare and valuable collector's item, difficult to obtain even in England. Size is approximately 14 x 15 cm. I purchased it from an antique shop over 10 years ago. There are places where pins are missing from the time of purchase (see image). I have never used it. It was displayed in a glass case for a long time. It is not practical. It is a decorative collector's item. The purchase price was about 30,000 yen at the time. It will be shipped by courier.
