I bought this in the Netherlands when I traveled there. It's made of ceramic. It's cute and I love it, but I haven't had a chance to display it because I'm afraid the children will break it, so I've kept it stored away. If anyone would like to use it, I'd be happy to give it to them. I don't see any dirt or scratches. There are creases and fraying on the blue string part only.
