Kōyama Castle is a mountain castle ruin located in Shingu, Tatsuno City, Hyogo Prefecture, and is a castle associated with Kuroda Kanbei. We only offer castle stamps. It was built during the Kenmu era of the Nanboku-chō period by Kōyama Hidekiyo, who belonged to Akamatsu Enshin. The Kōyama clan was succeeded by Hidekiyo - Hidehiro - Hidetomo - Hidemitsu, and during the Kakitsu Rebellion, Hidemitsu was killed in the Battle of Akashi Wazaka. Hidemitsu's son, Hideuji, followed Akamatsu Masanori's revival of Harima and returned as the lord of Kōyama Castle, repairing the castle and making it his residence. In 1580, Kōyama Castle was attacked and fell to Hashiba Hideyoshi. The castle lord, Kōyama Hideaki, fled to Chōsui Castle, but was killed when Chōsui Castle fell.
