Overall, I think it's in a beautiful condition. The material is more like unglazed pottery than ceramic. I have been using it to hold small items. There are no noticeable stains or scratches, but there may be some minor scratches due to use. Each one has a delicate and beautiful depiction of roses around the entire circumference.
