A calligraphy by Mokurai Shimaji. Mokurai was a Jodo Shinshu Honganji-ha Buddhist monk in the Meiji era. He had other names such as Uda, Musei, Hoho, and Rokurokudo-jin. This hanging scroll was purchased in the mid-Heisei era for 70,000 yen at the time. It has been carefully stored for a long time. There are some faint stains here and there if you look closely, but they are not noticeable. There are no insect bites or tears. The width of the hanging scroll is 53.5 cm, and the length is about 196 cm. If you are interested, please consider it.
