About the Product This is a set of B5-size writing paper featuring four spring flower designs: henbit, forsythia, violet, and Mitsumemousou (Hepatica). While there are no ruled lines, a horizontal-ruled underlay is included to guide you when you want to write straight. The paper used is "Hadayoshi-gami," a type of Hosho paper (official document paper) originating from Kai Province, Yamanashi. Its name comes from its "beautiful like a beautiful woman's skin" paper quality. In the past, it was used by the Takeda clan, and later, during the Edo period, it was presented to the shogunate as official paper. This writing paper faithfully conveys the traditional texture and writing feel of this traditional Japanese paper. Suitable for pens and brushes. This paper is Hadayoshi-gami Cream, which has a slightly yellowish tint. Matching designs are available in a single-sheet memo pad, and envelopes with different patterns. Also, plain envelopes are available in the same paper.
