This is an inverter fluorescent lamp type. Up to four lights can be attached per unit. Each has a switch, allowing for light intensity adjustment. It's very bright, with four spiral fluorescent lamps providing the equivalent of 500W of brightness. There are a total of 10 lights, including spares. I have confirmed that all lights turn on at the time of listing. The stand in the photo is not included. The stand is the type shown in the 14th photo, but if you want to mount it on a Japanese-type 16mm hole stand, you will need a separate adapter. The color temperature is 5500K, providing a very natural and neutral color rendering. Because they are spiral fluorescent lamps, they create natural shadows compared to recent LED lights, and you can obtain a high light output at a very low cost. It takes some time to assemble the light box, but you'll get used to it. Because the shadows are natural, you can get even more light output without a diffuser in some cases.
