You can use this as a terrestrial digital tuner in any household. You can watch in high-definition quality by connecting it to your TV via HDMI. If your TV is: * A tuner-less TV, * An analog TV, * The tuner is broken and you can't watch programs, * Doesn't recognize the B-CAS card, * Channel switching is slow, * The remote control is broken If there are no problems with the external input of your TV, connecting this STB as a terrestrial digital tuner will solve these problems. Channel switching and program guide display are faster compared to early LCD TVs and plasma TVs. \* If connecting to a monitor or projector via HDMI, please make sure it has speakers or an audio output. This STB model is originally a device for watching terrestrial digital, BS, and CS broadcasts using signals sent via cable with a CATV contract, but you can watch terrestrial digital broadcasts even without a CATV contract. (Currently, if you can watch terrestrial digital broadcasts on a regular TV, you can also watch them with this device.) (For BS broadcasts, you can watch them by doing a simple setup in areas/buildings where the CATV station is transmitting BS signals using a transmodulation method.
