This is a Moma flute, a Tsuyazaki doll from Fukuoka Prefecture. "Moma" refers to an owl, and it's considered a lucky charm. It was also selected for Mujirushi's Fuku-kan (Lucky Can). It's a set of two, a large one and a small one. They look even cuter when displayed together. I've kept them carefully stored in their box. I've never used them as a flute.
