Moroccan Beni Ourain I had this custom-made by the Moroccan artisan I requested last time. ◾︎This is a handmade rug woven by Moroccan artisans, one by one, by hand. Therefore, each piece has its own unique characteristics, such as the length of the pile, the softness of the wool, any distortions or thickness, and whether or not it has the characteristic wool smell. Please enjoy it as a rich expression unique to handmade work. ◾︎As a characteristic of new products, "shedding" may occur. It will gradually settle down as you use it, so please enjoy "raising" it while taking care of it daily. ◾︎Care Instructions ・Vacuum the surface gently along the direction of the pile. ・Sun-drying for a few hours is also effective. Gently tapping it to let in air will make the pile fluffy and stand up. ◾︎Characteristics of natural materials Plant fibers or wood chips may be mixed in with the pile of the rug. This is due to the local working environment and the characteristics of the wool. We remove them as much as possible, but they may be woven in or remain.
