This is a luxurious, hand-embroidered maru obi. I was amazed that such exquisite hand embroidery has been preserved so beautifully. This maru obi is from about 70 to 80 years ago. I was shocked, it took my breath away. Unfortunately, there are stains on the silver and white checkered area. The embroidered areas are beautiful.
