This belonged to my niece, who I live with. She wore this over her kimono sash and for warmth, as she didn't want to wear a fur shawl with her furisode (long-sleeved kimono). It's clean, having been used only once, but upon close inspection, there are some marks that look like the nap of the velvet or velour has been pressed down. This seems unavoidable with a single use, but I think it can still be worn beautifully. Also, upon close inspection, a part of the lace is torn. Because the lace is delicate, some damage is inevitable with velvet, even after wearing it once. It's perfect for kimonos and furisode, but of course, it can also be worn with Western clothes. It wrinkles easily, so if you apply only the steam from a steam iron (never actually iron it), it will become smooth again quickly.
