This is a cassette tape with a space theme, a collaboration between Sauce81 & Shing02. While CDs and vinyl are available, cassette tapes are not as common. This work features tracks that incorporate jazz and funk, by Sauce81, a rising producer who has released music on overseas labels, and MC Shing02, who has garnered support from around the world, including for his work with Nujabes. This project, a collaboration between these two globally active artists, began when Sauce81 provided music for the short film "Bustin'" written and directed by Shing02 in 2014. The title combines the names of the two artists and is a fictional soundtrack for a science fiction work set in space. The story begins with DJ Packo's navigation. The slowly swirling, jet-black groove accelerates with Shing02's aggressive rap in "Mission Statement," followed by the dreamy chorus of the psychedelic tune "Moonlighter," the odd-time signature, funny broken beats of "5th Dimension" featuring Meiso, and finally, the nostalgic disco-funk tune "Bring Me Home (S8102 Ver.)"—a cinematic and playful masterpiece. The artwork, created by Hana Yoshihata using a mixture of seawater and acrylic paints, is also superb.
