There is one inner pocket, and a magnetic button closure at the bag opening. Durable cotton linen canvas is used for the outer fabric, and soft-touch cotton is used for the lining. Quilt batting is applied throughout, giving it a thick, tactile feel while still allowing it to stand on its own. While it may not have the perfection of a mass-produced item, it is made with high-quality materials and careful sewing, making it a bag that will last a long time. Both the fabric and sashiko thread have been pre-washed, so hand washing is possible. ◇About Sashiko◇ The sashiko is hand-stitched one stitch at a time using two strands of thread. It's a design of many circles drawn with navy thread on natural-colored fabric.
