It depicts two children, Matilda and Alfred, looking at a statue of the famous Danish fairy tale writer H.C. Andersen. The children are taking a break in front of the statue on their way home, pulling a small Christmas tree with all their might. In the gentle gaze of Andersen's statue, there is Tivoli Gardens, the world's oldest theme park, which opened in 1843 and is loved as the heart of Copenhageners. The large building in the background of the statue is the Copenhagen City Hall, the sixth generation built in 1905. It is a stately building that incorporates the medieval Danish style and the North Italian Renaissance style.
