This is a Nagoya obi with the original stitching, which my mother had made for me as part of my bridal trousseau when I got married. When wearing an obi, the length doesn't matter much because you adjust the length of the hand that goes into the otaiko (the back part of the obi) and then tie it with an obijime (obi cord).
