I created a thread spool stand with a pincushion, like those found in French antique mercerie shops. The stand is new, but has been given an antique finish. The thin rods for holding thread spools are glued to the base. The thick rod in the middle is designed to hold thread snips. I attached a brown pincushion with flowers from a wedding dress purchased at a Parisian flea market. The first reference photo shows how it looks when thread and thread snips are placed on it. When shipped, the thick rod in the middle will be detached as shown in the fourth photo, so please screw it in. The pincushion is filled with silicone cotton, which prevents needles from rusting. *Please understand that the uneven coloring is part of the antique finish and adds to its character. The cat, thread snips, and thread spools are not included. You will receive the item in the second photo. Black thread spools and vintage scissors are sold separately.
