I also like the Diana Rose series, but I was drawn to the rose pattern and bought this item. I have washed it several times, but I have never used it and have kept it as a cherished interior decoration. Due to the passage of many years, there are scratches and rust on the handle or near the spout. The inside of the kettle is in a clean condition, but there is some discoloration.
