☆ Ainu Carved Hair Barrette I saw an Ainu person carving this during a trip to Hokkaido and liked it, so I bought it. My name was carved in katakana in three characters on the back, so some of it remains. I loved the beauty of the Ainu carving and used it for many years. I no longer need it since I cut my hair, so I'm putting it up for sale. Some of the carving appears to be chipped (see the last image). I'm not sure if it was originally like that or if it chipped naturally over time, but the area around the hand is smooth (i.e., it slides well). Length: 10 cm wide, Width: approx. 3.3 cm It has been used and has some chipped areas. This is a used item with scratches and stains. Please refer to the images and consider before purchasing.
