While I couldn't fully capture the condition in the photos, there is age-related soiling and damage to the paper case, vinyl cover, top, bottom, endpapers, and edges. The color and black-and-white pages inside are relatively clean. The encyclopedia is about 7 cm thick and weighs about 2.5 kg. It contains detailed illustrations along with explanations of each plant, and it's a testament to the greatness of Tomitaro Makino. It would be useful not only as an encyclopedia but also as a reference for drawing plant illustrations. As this book is over 50 years old, please check the photos for the condition and understand that it has been stored at home for a long time before purchasing.
