This is a tulle skirt, a "Chou Sonnet," purchased at the Daimaru Department Store from Dana Paris. Measurements (laid flat): Waist (elasticated): 34.5cm Skirt length: 80cm *Measurements are approximate. Size: 9 (Japanese size), fits like a size 9. Inexpensive tulle skirts often have cheap, shiny inner linings that cling uncomfortably. The tulle itself is often made of flimsy polyester with no structure. Furthermore, if the tulle is only a single layer, a cheap inner lining can be disappointing, right? This skirt features a 70% cotton, 30% polyester tiered inner skirt as the main element, made of very good material. On top of this is a layer of structured nylon tulle. In winter, it would look great with a pure white turtleneck for a winter-white look. In the current season, it would also look lovely paired with a compact tank top or T-shirt. Retail price: 31,900 yen. It's one of my favorite pieces, but I love white and have accumulated many white skirts, so I've decided to sell it while it's still new and unused.
