I purchased this at a flea market last spring! It's a work jacket made in France in the 1950s-60s. The fading is exceptional, and it's a piece where the blue, characteristic of workwear, has faded ideally. The elbows have "patch reinforcement" like denim double knees, a very rare detail for a work jacket. Furthermore, there are panels under the armpits (gusset construction) to expand the range of motion, and the real work specifications of the time remain intact. The exquisite silhouette of a short length and wide body width goes perfectly with wide pants, military pants, and denim.
