Thank you for viewing. This is a Wajima lacquerware women's Buddhist rosary that I purchased previously. I believe it was around 45,000 yen at the department store at the time. The wooden base is painted with pink lacquer, and each bead has a lotus flower design in silver powder. The larger beads have mother-of-pearl inlay, making them very luxurious. The wood is, I believe, ebony? It has a very light and gentle texture. The tassel is made of pure silk. It is in unused condition, so there are no scratches or dents. I think you can still use it for a long time. This is a Buddhist rosary that can be used in any general sect. It comes in a paulownia wood box. The beads are slightly oval in shape.
