Ise cotton is a traditional craft designated by Mie Prefecture, dating back to the Edo period. It is woven at Usui Orimono in Tsu City. Currently, as Usui Orimono is the only company producing it, Ise cotton is considered very valuable. Hand-sewn tailoring by a Japanese tailor is 13,000 yen. It takes about 10 days for water treatment, and then we start tailoring, so it will take about 2-3 weeks to complete. It may take a little longer when orders are busy. If you need a seat backing, it will be an additional 2,000 yen, and we will attach a polyester one of our choice.
