The base model is the now-discontinued Mizusawa Down Shuttle. The lining is made of a material that converts light into heat. The Hachimaki quilting is also nice. The Porter pouch can be attached vertically or horizontally. The pouch can also be used on its own. It's well-designed, and you can access the pouch hidden inside by opening the zipper in the pocket, even with the center zip closed. I sent it to Hakuyosha, the official Mizusawa Down certified cleaner, but there's some whitening that couldn't be removed. Perhaps another type of cleaning might remove it. However, the Hakuyosha staff warned that the water-resistant zippers might crack, so I didn't risk it this time. There's some wear and tear in places, but the fabric still has its firmness, and I think it's in good condition. It seems that logos, etc., shouldn't be placed in visible locations for military specifications, so the Descente mark has been moved under the hood.
