It considers the essence of materials, which are the foundation of clothing, and develops a wardrobe constructed as designs for the materials. It consists of "WHITE LABEL," which regularly offers essential everyday items (cut-and-sewn items, thermals, sweatshirts, and shirts), and "BLACK LABEL," which focuses on materials and details each season. In the 2008-09 autumn/winter season, Yoshio Kubo, the designer of "yoshio kubo," started "undecorated MAN" with a different concept from his own collection. Initially, it only handled menswear. From the 2016 autumn/winter season, Takayuki Kono took over the baton from Yoshio Kubo and became the designer. Kono had been an assistant to Kubo for about 8 years at yoshio kubo / undecorated MAN. Also, the brand name was changed from the lowercase "undecorated MAN" to "UNDECORATED MAN." From January 2017, the new collection "Permanent Collection" was launched. It offers basic items that can be proposed seasonless for modern people who seek "higher quality everyday wear." All items come in a dedicated box, making it a suitable collection for gifts. In 2018, womenswear was added to the collection, and the brand name changed from "UNDECORATED MAN" to "UNDECORATED." I think it can be used for both men and women.
