I purchased this at a Ghibli shop, but I've kept it in storage without using it. It's been stored for about six months. It's a new, unopened item, but please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to such things. I will open the package once before packing to check for any cracks. If you wish to have it shipped unopened, please let me know in the comments after your purchase, and I will not open it. However, please understand that I will not be able to provide any support for damage in that case. No price reduction.
