Acoustic guitar Morris W-20, made in Japan, a Japanese vintage, serial number 1224**. I believe it's the original from the time of manufacture, and it's in beautiful condition despite being over 40 years old. In the 1970s in Japan, various brand manufacturers competed to produce folk guitars, riding the folk boom. Currently, there are only a few manufacturers producing in Japan, and they seem to be very expensive. This guitar is made of plywood, but the sides and back use materials with a tiger stripe pattern, and I believe it's a valuable item made with high-quality materials and the best craftsmen of the time. Although it's plywood, the sound has a unique, brilliant tone and sound volume balance, similar to Y's red label guitars, making it a super cost-effective model, which I think is excellent. The frets have about 70% life remaining, and there's little overall wear and tear, with the headstock and pegs being very clean. New strings were replaced in August 2025. The neck is almost straight, and the string height is 1.8mm on the 1st string at the 5th fret, about 2mm on the 6th string, 2.2mm on the 1st string at the 12th fret, and about 2.5mm on the 6th string, with no buzzing or dead notes. The nut width of the neck is 43mm, and the scale length is about 655mm. The bridge saddle protrusion is 2mm on both the 1st and 6th strings. In addition, there are some shallow scratches on the back plate, but the overall appearance doesn't feel old. Please check the photos, and please understand that there may be small scratches that cannot be fully described. Accessories include a hard case (not clean), and it will be shipped with mirror mat and air cap to withstand vibration and impact during transportation.
