A pin badge from an organization within the Gun'on Renmei (Military Benevolence League), formed by former members of the old Japanese military. It has a design reminiscent of a Diet member's badge, featuring a chrysanthemum crest and the star insignia of the former Imperial Japanese Army. The back is a tie tack, engraved with the inscription "Kyūgun'on Kessha Zenren Kishō" (Medal of the All-Japan Association for the Bereaved Families of the Old Military).
