Used for about a year, and it's in relatively good condition. I no longer need it because I replaced the chimes when I had my home wiring done. No noticeable scratches. The outdoor chime is yellowed, but it works fine. It's wireless, so it works as long as there are batteries. The standard set includes one main unit and one chime, but I bought two additional main units because I needed more, so you can use it in three locations. You can select songs and adjust the volume, not just the chime sound. Each main unit requires 3 AA batteries (USB available, no cord). Chime: button battery (included)
