This is a gorgeous fukuro obi featuring a woven pattern of tatewaku (rising steam) with cherry blossoms, chrysanthemums, and other floral motifs. The fabric is pulled out to show the "shikouka" (purple-red flower) portion of the weave, and there is some slight distortion. There are also some minor signs of wear from tying and loose threads, but no particularly noticeable stains.
