This is a small earthenware pot made by Mr. and Mrs. Kazuhiro and Aya Tsubota. I love the tableware and tools created by the Tsubotas, who live close to nature, and I visit their exhibitions whenever I have the chance. This item was also purchased at one of their exhibitions. It's a small earthenware pot without a lid, and it's versatile, usable as an oven dish or a serving bowl. As an oven dish, it's the perfect size for cooking for 2-4 people, great for roasting seasonal vegetables and chicken, or baking gratin. As an earthenware pot, it's suitable for cooking for 1-2 people, and I think it's a pot that can be used regardless of the season, for things like yudofu (boiled tofu), nabeyaki udon (noodles in a pot), shabu-shabu, or mizutaki (boiled chicken and vegetables). Although it doesn't have handles, the flared rim makes it easy to grip, and it has a charm that shows the maker has carefully considered the user's needs. It's a wonderful earthenware pot that is full of the Tsubotas' personality. Due to a reduction in storage space after moving, I've decided to sell it to organize my belongings. It's an unused item that has been carefully stored, and it's in very beautiful, excellent condition with no noticeable damage.
