There is age-related yellowing. Other than the yellowing, the condition is good. All were published in 1956-1957, without dust jackets. The obi (paper band) is in good condition. The string bookmarks are clean in all volumes except for the four signed ones. I have taken photos to show the condition of the books as clearly as possible, so please take a look. It was a time of post-war confusion, and resources were scarce. The supply of paper was also insufficient, and the number of pages in a book was limited to prioritize the distribution of publications. The Holmes works were also subject to page limitations, and some works were omitted from the continuous publication. These omitted works were later collected and published as "Eichi" (Wisdom), the final work in the series, making a total of 10 books in the series.
