"Yume no Ki" is the first studio album by Takako Okamura, released in 1985. It was Okamura's solo debut album after she returned to Tokyo and resumed her music activities following the suspension of Amin's activities in '83. This is also the first album where Okamura herself was responsible for all the lyrics and compositions, including the albums from the Amin era. There were no prior singles, and the song "Kaze wa Umi kara" from the album was released as a single simultaneously with the album. This song was used as the image song for the FM Yokohama "Kaze wa Umi kara" campaign. The B-side of the single was also included on the album, "Tsumetai Ame." In addition, a self-cover of "Ame no Machi," one of her few provided songs, was included. The original song was sung by Tomoko Takabe. She also provided the song "Kataomoi wa HAPPY Kibun" to Takabe (both in 1984). "Pierrot" was remixed and included as the B-side of the second single, "Kyou mo Nemurenai."
