Menuki (sword ornament) - Shakudo (copper alloy), Edo period Modified into a tie clip. Those with an eye for such things will recognize its value as a genuine menuki, not a modern reproduction. The gold on the back is currently very valuable in itself. (The clasp on the back is stamped K18, but the metal of the other parts (pin, catch, etc.) is unknown.)
