Katazome (stencil dyeing), plain indigo dyeing, plant dyeing, kasuri (ikat) etc... This is a set of small scraps of unsewn antique fabrics, including old futon covers and kimono remnants. (Sizes range from business card to postcard size, or 3-5cm wide) The thickness, size, and shape vary, with a minimum of 30 pieces without duplicates. The photos are for size reference, taken with the fabrics layered on a 29x38cm tray. Mostly cotton, but some pieces may include silk, wool, or linen. Please note that some fabrics may have stains, small holes, or needle marks. Suitable for repairs, remakes, sashiko, patchwork, and crafts such as boro. ⚫︎ The threads and cotton have been removed as much as possible, and the fabrics have been ironed. ⚫︎ As the fabrics are old, we have checked for stains, discoloration, and damage and noted them, but we apologize if we missed anything...
