It features a design of tied chrysanthemum, peony, wisteria, Chinese bellflower, camellia, and other flower branches, along with kanoko (fawn) diamond patterns, created with braided cords. The pattern is continuous at the seams, so it can also be worn as a homongi (formal visiting wear) with an all-over pattern. The dye colors are vibrant and look good from a distance and in photos, making it recommended for young ladies' formal wear or for those who perform on stage. The dimensions are slightly small, but there is about 6cm of tuck-up, and about 3cm of seam allowance on both the sleeve and body sides, so some alterations are possible.
