This is an offering of a Karatsu-yaki incense container (kogo) with a painted design, made by Kimihiro Inoue of Kagami-yama Kiln. This exquisite piece of Karatsu-yaki has been carefully preserved without ever being used. It is in very beautiful condition with no noticeable damage other than extremely minor scuffs. It was distributed as a commemorative gift for the 88th birthday (beiju) from the Urasenke Tankokai. Size: Diameter 6.5cm, Height 4cm Accessories: Wooden box (with inscription and seal), yellow cloth, and a descriptive pamphlet (shiori). Note: While carefully stored, and as described, I believe there are no obvious noticeable flaws. However, there may be some inconspicuous scratches, natural fading, or dents due to aging and storage that may have been overlooked. Please understand this before purchasing. I will upload as many photos as possible, so please make your judgment based on the photos. Basically, this is a used antique item, so please refrain from claims due to minor scratches, scuffs, or stains that do not interfere with use, except for major defects. Also, there may be stains, writing, or discoloration on the outer box and pamphlet, but these will not be specifically mentioned. If there is any discrepancy between the photos and the description, please prioritize the photos and make your own judgment. (YM5091301)
