It was the flagship model at the time of its sale. It has a gold brass bell. I think it's an instrument with a dark and crisp sound. It has relatively little resistance, and it gives the impression that the sound comes out easily. It seems to be quite affected by the mouthpiece, but it gives the impression that it can be played without much breath. However, it can take as much breath as you want, and even if you try to make a rough, loud sound, it has the depth that you would expect from BESSON. This is just an amateur's impression. I believe it's an instrument from over 20 years ago, but there are no dents, and the pistons and tuning slides are in good condition. There is no lacquer peeling, but the triggers on the 1st and 3rd slides are slightly white. The piston height has been adjusted with felt. It comes with the original case, but there is an unknown signature on it, which I think can be removed with nail polish remover. I will leave it as is because it might be a great signature, as I am not familiar with brass bands. If you are going to continue playing in a brass band, you'll want a cornet. BESSONs have become expensive, haven't they? How about this one for this price? This is a serious cornet. It's a shame, but I'm selling it because I don't have a situation to use a short cornet.
