Several horizontal lines have been carved on the outside of the dishes using a plane and bamboo skewers, creating steps. The resulting variations in the glaze due to these irregularities are a highlight. The powerful carved patterns and the Warizansho shape, combined with the Oribe green color, make these dishes eye-catching.
