It's a pincushion, arranged in a modern style using the Kogin-zashi technique, which is a traditional embroidery from the Tsugaru region, and designed with a Nordic pattern. The coffee bean pattern is embroidered on congress cloth, and the base uses a natural-colored wooden bowl. Siliconized fiber cotton is used inside, which prevents needles from rusting. The wooden bowl is imported, so there may be distortions or small scratches. Also, because it uses natural wood, there are individual differences such as annual rings and knots.
