This is a set of Arita-yaki Keizan-gama sometsuke sansui (blue and white landscape) stepped tea bowls. Keizan-gama tea bowls come in large, medium, and small sizes, and these photos show the medium and small set. Please note that the small bowl is a slightly smaller size. Features of Keizan-gama: It is said that there are over 1000 different types of designs, including traditional patterns and arrangements, as well as different shapes. Each sometsuke (blue and white) ware is hand-painted by artisans, so no two are exactly alike. Although unused, there are some stains on the back of the tea bowls, both medium and small.
