This is a Yamaha YBL-822G, a renowned bass trombone. I purchased it used several years ago, so the manufacturing year is unknown, but it was in near-new condition. I used it about every other week and maintained it carefully, so I believe it's still in good condition. There are almost no visible scratches on the bell section. As shown in the 13th image, there are some scratches on the slide. The slide moves smoothly without any sticking, and the rotary valves operate quietly and smoothly. The sound is also wonderful, from the delicate resonance of pp to the full sound of ff, without feeling any limitations. The unique wrap of the tubing and the rotary valves provide a moderate resistance, and it's easy to play, with the stability you'd expect from a Japanese-made instrument. I am selling it to raise funds to transition to a tenor trombone. Finally, I have cleaned the inside and outside thoroughly, and applied grease to the tuning slide for protection.
