I purchased a working item on Yahoo Auctions. The description stated: "Power and operation have been confirmed. There is crackling noise when operating the knobs." However, there is a small, crackling noise from the moment the power is turned on. It's not very noticeable when playing music, but I'm sensitive to small sounds, so I'm listing it. The photos are from when I purchased the item. Also, I am listing this item elsewhere, so if it sells there, I apologize, but I will have to cancel this listing. I forgot to mention, the meters work properly, but the frames are a little loose.
