This is a mouthpiece for a small-bore trombone. It was made by a mouthpiece manufacturer founded by a German trombonist and a former Kanstul craftsman. When I looked into it for this listing, I was surprised to find out that a Japanese person has recently taken over the management. This one is from the German era. I purchased it online when it was still rarely mentioned on social media, so it's probably one of the earliest models. It's an Andy Martin model, with a size close to 7C (slightly larger, but not as large as 6.5), and a heavy weight of 205g as measured. The rim is well-balanced and responsive, and the sound is dark, thick, and powerful. It was one of the best mouthpieces I've ever used, and I used it as my main mouthpiece for several years. However, I've recently been using a 6.5 size mouthpiece as my main one, and I've simply had fewer opportunities to play this one, so I'm listing it for sale. Apart from normal wear and tear, there is a small scratch on the tip of the shank that is difficult to see in the photos (photo 4, lower left, and photo 5), but otherwise, it is in very good condition. I think it's a very good mouthpiece. Please use it a lot.
