As shown in photo 4, the stopper screw on the 3rd slide does not appear to be the original for this model, and it completely hits the slide when tightened. Also, the screw itself is slightly bent. It can be turned, so if you are careful about how much you tighten it, you can use it normally. As shown in photo 5, the hook on the 1st slide has been removed, and the base material is completely exposed. Photos 6 and 7 show noticeable dents. As shown in photo 8, a patch has been applied to the 2nd tube. I think it was dropped with the 2nd tube facing down, and the hole was opened during the dent repair. This has been the case since I purchased it, so I don't know the details. The pistons maintain sufficient airtightness, and although it depends on personal preference, I don't think it's necessary to use oil for worn pistons. The same goes for the slides. The main tube is tight, and it may need to be lapped, but I have been using it, and I don't see any rubbing in specific areas, so I think it's within an acceptable range. The soft parts have not been replaced. It has not been professionally cleaned, only cleaned with water, neutral detergent, and alcohol. The oil and grease have been removed. I have used it in the cornet section of a brass band, and I think it is still an active instrument. In my personal opinion, it is an instrument that is easy to control and allows you to focus on expression without worrying about intonation. However, I felt that the short mouthpiece (Denis Wick 5B) didn't quite match well. However, a shallow long mouthpiece didn't seem to be a good fit either. Also, although it is a Yamaha, it also has a Nikkan stamp, so I think it is an early model. When shipping, I will put cushioning inside the old Yamaha hard case to prevent it from moving, and I will pack it with air caps, etc. The case is relatively clean, so I think it can be used normally.
